About Me
My connection to design began long before I even knew it could be a career. I grew up in a family of makers—my father and brothers painted everything from Chinese landscapes to cheerful Bob Ross scenes, while my parents brought home scraps from the garment factories where they worked. Buttons, fabric, wire hangers, plastic bags—these became my materials. I’d twist hangers into Christmas trees, glue buttons into textured mosaics, and experiment endlessly with whatever we had. That resourcefulness, curiosity, and hands‑on creativity became the roots of my design practice.
I continued that path at LaGuardia High School—the “Fame” school—where I majored in art and discovered graphic design and photography. Those disciplines became my early tools, eventually leading me to launch a small web‑design business while studying at Cornell University. That entrepreneurial start taught me how to combine aesthetics, structure, and problem‑solving in ways that still shape my work today.
Outside of work, I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors with my family. And somewhere along the way, I became an avid—and admittedly obsessed—pickleball player. It’s the perfect mix of strategy, movement, and community, and I never turn down a chance to play.
If I could choose a superpower, I’d fly like an eagle and swim like a dolphin—because freedom and flow have always inspired me, both in life and in design.
